a little of this...a little of that...

Fun stuff:

  • I have Google wave! Although, I'm not quite sure what to do with it...I guess I need to get more of my friends involved, as I think it could come in handy for school projects.
  • I have Google voice! Google Voice makes it much easier to text in class...hmm...maybe I shouldn't make that public...oh well. :) Now to figure out who I want to give my Google voice number to...

In other news:

  • I finally purchased my first pair of Toms. Comfy! Thanks to a Dwelling Spaces one day sale, I even received 20% off!
  • I have officially earned a B in Endocrine Module. Go me! :)

Now that I have put you to sleep with my blog, I will call it a post and be done. TNT! (til next time)

Caleb's Brain Expansion (my friend's 10 year-old son)

The following is a facebook post from my good friend Joey on behalf of her son, Caleb. I thought I would try to help the cause with a little blogging... :)

Dear Friends and Family,

I've been looking for a way to help save up for $5000.00 to participate in my People to People adventure. I'm also a fan of everything internet and that's just where I discovered a new, easy way to help reach my goal.

www.iFundDrive.com is a FREE online website that donates money to an account for me while you shop on-line at your favorite retailers. If you already shop on-line, this is a convenient way to give at no cost to you. If you don't shop on-line, you may be surprised at how easy and secure it has become.

To sign up and automatically start supporting me, simply click on this invitation link:

You can visit the website to find out more information, or please feel free to contact me. I hope you join in and support me!

Sincerely,
Caleb Johnson

P.S. below is a link about the People to People program, so you know I'm not just milking you for video game money! :)

The Fair...

I went to the fair for the first time since I was a freshman in high school. I had fun! :)

I had my first Indian Taco and it was yummy! Note the beer in the pic, 24 oz of Marshall's Sundown Wheat

After enjoying my scrumptious dinner, I enjoyed the music stylings of Tony! Toni! Tone! Talk about goin' old school for an evening...lol :)

Much thanks to my friend for taking me to the fair! Dude, I had so much fun! :)

Tomorrow it is off to a wine festival followed by some wonderful rheumatology studying. Mmmm...wine...have a great weekend...

My first post...a little info...

For those who know me, you are probably wondering where "leah lou" came from, as you're pretty sure it isn't my middle name and you've never heard it before this blog. Well, one of my mom's best friends used to call me "leah lou", and she always encouraged me to be me, not anyone else. Though some may have thought that she wasn't the most positive influence, I always thought she was. Some would say she was loud and over-bearing, I say she was sassy and confident.

Tomato, tomatto, what are ya gonna do?

So, it is with great pride I say, Kathy, thanks for helping me name my blog!

A few other things about this blog:
  • I have an accent at times, and sometimes I feel the need for it to come through in my writing, if it bothers you, tough, don't read my blog.
  • If I feel the need to write about my dealings with other people, I will change the names. If you think you know who I am talking about, don't put it in the comments, ok? You are welcome to contact me directly, however, I probably will not tell you if you are correct anyway.
  • If you find something about my blog useful, let me know.
  • If you find an error, let me know.
Ok. I guess that is it. I hope you enjoy, and if not, at least I have been able to get a few things off my chest and out of my head. (This helps to keep me sane in the real world, whatever that is...)
