My first post...a little info...

For those who know me, you are probably wondering where "leah lou" came from, as you're pretty sure it isn't my middle name and you've never heard it before this blog. Well, one of my mom's best friends used to call me "leah lou", and she always encouraged me to be me, not anyone else. Though some may have thought that she wasn't the most positive influence, I always thought she was. Some would say she was loud and over-bearing, I say she was sassy and confident.

So, it is with great pride I say, Kathy, thanks for helping me name my blog!


A few other things about this blog:

• I have an accent at times, and sometimes I feel the need for it to come through in my writing, if it bothers you, tough, don't read my blog. 
• If I feel the need to write about my dealings with other people, I will change the names. If you think you know who I am talking about, don't put it in the comments, ok? You are welcome to contact me directly, however, I probably will not tell you if you are correct anyway.

Ok. I guess that is it. I hope you enjoy, and if not, at least I have been able to get a few things off my chest and out of my head. (This helps to keep me sane in the real world, whatever that is...)
